About: McDougall Church is an all inclusive, Christian, spiritual community that welcomes lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered persons.

Congregational & Pastoral Care

About: Congregational and Pastoral Care includes everyone in the community of faith at McDougall Church. It is headed up by our Ministry staff and is supported by volunteers and is supported by volunteers who keep in touch with seniors, shut-ins, those in hospital, care centers, and any who need a tender touch, no matter their situation. We also provide a card ministry to those who have been bereaved, celebrating birthdays, or other special occasions.



Sunday School

We are not able to provide Sunday School or children’s programming at this time.

 

Wedding Ministry

Wedding MinistryAbout: The Wedding Ministry includes volunteer staff who support the wedding party before, during and after the ceremony as follows:

  • attends the wedding rehearsal
  • arrives for the ceremony one hour prior to receive ushers, flowers, light candles, etc.
  • welcomes the wedding party
  • ushers and seats family and special guests
  • assists with procession of the wedding party
  • tidies up after the ceremony
